Premium Diesel is defined as a fuel containing one or more performance properties that exceed regular diesel fuel standards. These specified categories typically include: lubricity, cetane, energy content, fuel injector cleanliness and low temperature operability (stability). The National Conference of Weights and Measures (NCWM) has issued specifications for premium diesel fuel standards.
